From a surgical standpoint, the FUE hair transplant is a very safe, non invasive, relatively minor procedure. With FUE each graft from the back of the head (donor area) is harvested individually and placed in the thinning of balding areas of the head. The hair at the back of the head is different, and is genetically programmed not to fall out. Austin Hair Graft uses pressurized device to extract the follicles and minimize the handling of the grafts. It is performed with local anesthetic and does not require any sutures or staples. There is no linear scar, and there are fewer limitations during the quick recovery.
Dr. Hall will advise on the number of grafts needed as each patient is different.
